how do you convert violin music to trombone music?

i want to play the professor layton theme on my trombone but i can only find the violin music for it. can anyone help me?

When you see a violin note on the staff, imagine your correct trombone note as being down a third or 2 scale-steps down from the printed note. For instance a C in treble clef is between the 3rd and 4th lines of the staff. In bass clef, it’s between the 2nd and 3rd lines.
